Playa El Agua has the biggest potential given the wide and longness of the beach, the white sands, blue waters, and some existing infrastructure and room to expand. Playa El Angel is the current and most secure way of making an investment, given the existing infrastructure (however, note than 1/2 of the day Sunday my building's power was out). Playa El Yaque is an interesting, bohemian, Bali-type natural lifestyle destination with potential but limited infrastructure. Juan Griego is nearly totally destroyed from pandemic/economic polcies with the majority of the city blocks vacant. I was sad to not find a truly walkable and built-up area; instead, a car is required on the island. On Saturday, I waited close to an hour trying to use local ridesharing apps, Yummy and Ridery. Isla Margarita is THE island of the country, and it's also somewhat known internationally, and for good reason. There are many beautiful parts, however, if making an investment, the future is absolutely not know and the island infrastructure needs multiple years of improvements, many abandoned projects, so ensure you're not paying a premium for a proposed future that is not gaurnateed.
There is nothing good in Porlamar besides some shopping, dining, and nightlife. Moreno Beach is not nice. El Guacaco is nice for the beach clubs during the day.
