The weather here can go from sunny one minute to hail the next with debris blowing upwards. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the nice days are (and the grand majority were nice days!).
There's this super nice and high-end neighborhood around the BH Shopping mall called Belvedere

Add Mercado Novo to your list of things to do. It's a converted garage (I think) which is converted into bars, eating, hanging out, shopping, art, etc.
More than 60 parks and 600 plazas!
A ton of coworking spaces! In fact, the neighborhood of Sao Pedro is where a large starup scene has formed.
The city has the largest freshwater aquarium in the country, which contains over 1,200 fish and 50 different species
ATMs allow for max 1000BRL at a time which is nothing here when a nice dinner costs 150BRL and a haircut 100BRL.
