First Impressions: Clean streets, few homeless beggars, nice weather, big beach, nice parks and people actually using them, many Peruvians speak English
Contrary to popular assumption, I'm not a tourist. I am a traveler. I have a routine, just like you, only in a variety of locations:
Wednesday: Worked in the early morning (I arrived Tuesday 11pm) then went to the gym in Lacromar shopping center overlooking the ocean. Visited the Agua Dulce beach in the afternoon. In the evening, went to the grocery store to buy ingredients for my morning smoothie and ate at a local restaurant. I walked 13,00 steps that day.
Friday: Worked in the morning and afternoon at coffee shops and ate lunch at B Restaurant. Went to the gym in the late afternoon. In evening, met up with a buddy from Medellin and his friend for dinner.
Saturday: Got a beard trim before my 11am flight to Iquitos for my 3-night luxury Amazon River Cruise.

I choose the items below as they’re generally available everywhere. Thus, easy for comparison. The prices reflect the cheapest option given my standard. In any estination you can find slightly cheaper prices if you wanted to sacrifice convenience (ie going to local market or out-of-town grocery store).
